3DCP (3D colour print) is a 3D printing business. we can 3D print as large as 210mm wide by 210mm long by 205mm tall in a range of colours and types of filament (the plastic used to make the object). Our filament colours and types are:
PLA - PLA is a biodegradable plastic commonly used in 3D printing. it is the only one we stock as we aim to be as eco friendly as possible.

How 3D printing works:

3D printing works by taking a rolled up spool of plasic, feeding it into a maneuverable extruder (the part of the printer that places the plastic), melting it, then, pushing the molten plastic out in a certain 2D pattern. it does this over and over again building up layers upon layers of 2D patterns until you end up with a 3D object.

About:

3D colour print is run by 14 year old Douglas and his Dad. Douglas discovered a love of 3D printing when he got to use the schools 3d printers, after this experience he decided he must have one for himself. He received his printer (Anycubic I3 Mega) in the mail after spending days researching the perfect printer for him based on budget, print volume, and reliability. As time went on his love for 3D printing never lessened however he was running out of things to print. He, along with the support of his Dad decided that the best way for him to continue to get better at 3D printing, as well as learn valuable life skills, was to turn it into a business. Thus 3D colour print was born!
